Easter Egg coloring in our house has always been horrible. Dylan had some sensory issues and the last 3 years he always was screaming because he didn't like to touch the eggs, put them in the colored water that would stain his hands. I always loved coloring eggs when I was little. Thankfully, now a days, we have egg coloring kits and don't have to use food coloring that would stay on your hands for days, even sometimes weeks. Dylan absolutely enjoyed every minute of egg decorating this year. He got right into the cups with the colors and went to town decorating his eggs. God bless Occupational Therapy! I don't think Dylan would have even gone near the cups of coloring this year if he didn't get OT last Spring. He was all smiles and was very cute laughing and giggling as he pulled the eggs out of the cups. Brynn pretty much threw the eggs into the cups of coloring but was laughing and yelling "pretty" after her eggs came out of the colors. Her favorite color of course was pink. Emily just sat in the high chair and took everything in. Ryan also helped out. The kids and we now have 36 beautifully colored easter eggs. It was lots of fun (thanks Nana and Poppie for helping out--even though I think Poppie had a better time than anyone).
