First Bath

I'm so far behind on this blog I do appologize to my family members that check in. Here are a couple pics of Emily's first bath. This is my favorite time with her because she absolutely LOVES bathtime. I remember Dylan and Brynn screaming when I gave them their first bath but she really loves being in the water.

Baking

I have to be creative on days when there's a snow storm and the schools close. Brynn loves to play cook. She's so into this lately that I had to move her little play kitchen into my kitchen so she can cook when I do (safely). I found this little bakers apron and hat in the dollar store and she loves to pretend she's a baker, or "cooker"as she calls it. I love her imagination and she's not even 2 years old yet.

Emily the thumb sucker

I had to get a pic of Emily sucking her thumb. Dylan and Brynn never sucked their thumbs and, Brynn never even liked a pacifier. I thought she looked so cute. It's her way of telling me "hey mom it's time to eat".

My first shiner

Dylan and Ryan were wrestling two weekends ago and Dylan wound up getting his first shiner. It looked awful and I thought for sure he was going to need stitches. Thankfully he didn't cut his eye open. He woke up the next day and looked like Rocky. His poor little eye was swollen shut. He still has a black eye but it's looking better every day. I was told that "boys will be boys" by my husband. THANK GOD I ONLY HAVE ONE BOY!!! I can't imagine having two little boys wrestling around like my nephew and son like to do every time they play together.

Emily

We are truely blessed with our baby girl. She is wonderful. Em is so easy-going and laid back compared to her big sister. Everyone knows how colicy Miss Brynn was and i prayed long and hard during my pregnancy for a "non-screamer". Emme is such a joy and I'm trying to enjoy every minute of my last baby.

It's potty time!!!

Well Brynn I think is experiencing middle child syndrome. Honestly i'm still trying to figure out a schedule and managing one on one time with each child. Brynn has initiated the dreaded potty training on her own and is doing an amazing job. She has been waking up dry in the mornings so its just a matter of time before she's in big girl panties!! I'm so proud of her AND she's only 20 months so i'm impressed that she even knows to go on the potty. What a big girl

Emily Grace Arrives!

Our little peanut Emily Grace arrived a month early. She is the sweetest little thing in the world! She arrived at 3:02 p.m., weighing 6 lbs 2oz, 19 inches long. Since she was early she had some problems breathing. She was transferred to another hospital where they had a NICU. After a week she was ready to come home. We now have a complete family.

Christmas 2008

We had a great Christmas this year. The kids were wonderful. Both were so patient. They didn't wake up until 7:30 and let us lay around in bed until 8:00. Dylan was so excited when he walked downstairs and saw that everyone's stocking had goodies in it from Santa. The kids expressions were priceless when they opened their gifts. Although I wasn't feeling 100% my kids made my day with how they enjoyed the holiday. I have probably 100 pictures and it's hard to pick my favorites but here are some...

36 weeks pregnant

This picture was taken by Dylan the day before our newest arrival.
