Bowling
Dylan, Brynn, Ryan, Gillian and I all went bowling last night. We had pizza at Pizza Hut and then headed to the bowling alley. This was Dylan's first bowling experience and he had a blast. He actually won (that tells you how well I play the game). He was jumping up and down yelling "I'm the champion of the world, I win, I win, I win". We then played a quick game of air hockey, headed out for ice cream at Mc Donalds then home. The kids were so well behaved and really had a great time.
Easter pictures
We had a fantastic Easter Day. The morning started off with an egg hunt at our house. We then got dressed and headed for church, breakfast with grandparents, aunts and uncles, and then a nice family dinner with a HUGE outdoor egg hunt. Dylan & Brynn had such a nice day and were so excited to find eggs and get a basket of goodies. The Easter Bunny left Dylan two new Thomas the Trains so that made his entire day.

Here comes Peter Cottontail!
Like most families, we are getting ready for the Easter Holiday. We have been reading books about Easter, singing the only Easter song I know "Here comes Peter Cottontail" and learning about Jesus in Sunday School. Last night on the way home from the office Dylan said "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord"--I was floored but Dylan's Sunday School teacher has said this sentence over and over again since the beginning of Lent. I was so proud. It's important to me that my children know that Easter isn't just about chocolate bunnies and easter eggs. Now as an oxymoron, I'm going to post pics of Dylan coloring eggs last night as his baby sister watched. He also decorated sugar cookies for his Easter Party at daycare today. He really enjoyed decorating the eggs and was a little bummed when we didn't have any more eggs to color.

HAPPY DYLAN PATRICKS' DAY
My son has decided to re-name my favorite holiday, St. Patrick's Day, Dylan Patrick's Day. It's pretty comical because he told a bunch of people he was wearing shamrocks for Dylan Patrick's Day. He was quite helpful making Irish Soda Bread and corned beef (which Brynn could eat every day)....It was a very nice holiday, especially after Dylan said grace at dinnertime. He's growing up so fast.
Cleaning..
Everyone knows how neurotic I am about keeping my house clean. I MUST vaccum the floors every day since my princess likes to put everything she finds in her pretty little mouth. Here's a pic of Dylan using his vaccum from Christmas to help mommy clean up...
Brynn is 10 months!!
This post is a little late but here are some pics of my little princess from March 9th---10 months old--where does the time go?

Mommy's birthday
It was my birthday yesterday. Dylan couldn't wait for dinner to get over so he could put the candles on my cake (which he decorated) and sing Happy Birthday. What the boy REALLY can't wait for is his OWN birthday. We told him that his birthday comes after mommy's birthday. BIG MISTAKE because the boy doesn't forget anything and now I get the question "Is it my birthday yet" a thousand times a day. Here are some pics...

Easter party
I've been slacking a little with this blog. Here's a couple of pictures from an Easter Party the kids and I went to last week. Brynn loved seeing the Easter Bunny with her big cousins but Dylan wasn't going to go anywhere near the Easter Bunny...I guess you can say he's completely afraid of the poor bunny rabbit. Check out the hat Brynnie's wearing I LOVE IT.

singing...
I was able to get a cute clip of Dylan singing in the tub the other night...let's see if you can guess the song?
Brynnie...
Brynn is into MUCH more than Dylan ever was! She has a favorite drawer in the kitchen that she loves to go into and pull everything out of. She'll throw everything onto the floor and then cry when it's empty so you'll fill it back up for her. I caught her in the act the other day. Here's some pics...

Snowmobiling...
Dylan and his daddy have found a hobby that they have in common...snowmobiling. Dylan gave us a good fight but after a while put his helmet on & went for a ride with dad. Now he asks to go every day. He's going to be quite dissappointed in a couple of weeks when the snow is gone...
Another snow day...
Last weekend after yet another snow storm, we decided to let the kids go outside and enjoy the snow since hopefully it will be melting soon. Brynn wore the same snowsuit Dylan wore when he was a baby. It's camoflauge but we made it girly by adding a pink hat and purple scarf. She wasn't feeling the snow too much but did look very cute...
